The Question Of Everyday in Egypt : Who Will Rule After Mubarak !!??

Nobody has commented on this weekly issue of Dostor , I do not know if it was because of Ramadan or because the question it asks has not got no answer up till now.
Egypt awaits the next President
"Egypt awaits its …coming president"
Regardless of the issues discussed under this headline from rumors about Gamal Mubarak's businessmen lobby pressure on Mubarak SR to resign !!
This is the top question now in Egypt : Who will rule after Mubarak !!?? Who is the next president of Egypt !??

Yes Gamal is from the top names but people are not sure especially that with Mubarak's health that goes up and down every now and then. Already for two weeks the rumors started to find a way in the country after the noticeable absence of Mubarak and the facts that two of his public activities were postponed to God knows when. He was supposed to inaugurate a bridge or a highway but he did not and the highway was inaugurated unofficially , he was supposed to inaugurated the Islamic museum yesterday or the day before
Of course today  we knew that Mubarak is alive and capable of doing his presidential duties when he received King Abdullah II of Jordan in Cairo airport himself as he wants to prove something in the very hot weather. Other than proving that he is still fine and in shape Mubarak has got a lot to talk about with Abdullah II.
Mubarak on August 12, 2010 in Cairo
We also find Abu Mazan visiting Mubarak ,  it was a busy !! Seriously why does every time we got rumors about Mubarak's health , Abu Mazan comes and visits Mubarak !!!??? I noticed this and I have found a pattern , I am afraid !!
Every blackout in Cairo , every bunch of anti-riots police vehicles moving from here and there especially near the presidential palaces , you will find people wondering if the day has come.
Back to Mubarak , without doubt the coming days are hard in our time , we do not know who we are going to hang his photo after Mubarak , will he be a military or not !!?? Will he be a Mubarak or not !!?? And the most important and forbidden question : Will he be better than Mubarak !!??

  1. The only people who can change Egypt are the Egyptian population themselves. so far they have all been pussies and too scared to rise up. Egypt is in the mess it is in because the cowardice.
Look at what the Iranians are doing god bless them.

  2. According to the constitution, when Mubarak dies the Vice President steps up to fill the vacuum until a new President can be elected. In the absence of a VP and according to the constitution, the Prime Minister assumes leadership.

Here’s where things become murky and clear. Murky insofar as the political machine appears to be manoeuvring Mubarak’s son, Gamal, into a position of greater power. Upon the father’s death, the son might become Prime Minister, or, Vice President. At the same time sweet promises would be made to the military to keep them quiet. Depending on the position, power then shifts towards the Prime Ministership (See Russia's Putin for details on how to do this) or, after a year as deputy, the son moves up to become President. What is clear is that Mubarak wants his son in charge,(see most Arab leaders for more on this).
The 75 year old Omar Suleiman has no interest in the presidency but will closely monitor the stability of the country with other top generals in case the army has to intervene.
ElBaradei may be given a nominal position as an adviser, whereas the MB will continue to be kept on a short leash.
