A Prime Minister of An Arab Country

I think Saad Al Hariri is the youngest prime minister in the Arab world and he will not be that good like the rest of his counterparts in the Arab world too.

Please watch this video below from his speech in front of the Lebanese parliament after the long birth of his cabinet. The prime minister of Lebanon can’t read Arabic right !!??

This video is making fun of him with scene from the famous 1970s play “The Children have grown up”  where Said Saleh reads the letter from his father’s mistress and can’t complete it because he can’t read actually!!

I love Nabih Barry

Mr.Prime minister do you want someone else to complete reading the speech !!??

  2. Did King Abdullah of Jordan read or speak Arabic before coming to power? What does that say about the Arab polity in the Middle East?

  4. I'm not surprised really check our kids and how bad their Arabic is, real shame. Most of my friends and family are so keen on teaching their kids English/ French etc and usually do not even converse with them in Arabic, the result is a disaster, also most of them do not know much about our history and so they do not end up passing essential info to their kids and almost none encourage them to read since they themselves do not read

I was embarassed to watch it.

The country that produced Ilia Abu Madi having a Prime Minister who reads Arabic worse than a primary school kid.

And his English isn't that great either.

At least King AbdAllah's English is flawless!

Zeinobia I see that you are adamant not to address the crisis that the Egyptian media's portrayal of Sudan and the Sudanese has caused...
